Just a day after the Galaxy 10.1 got priced and dated, Motorola's Xoom tablet has had a price drop on Amazon - down to under £400.
This is of particular interest as those in the market for a Honeycomb tablet might have been tempted with the Galaxy 10.1. However considering the Motorola Xoom will give you twice the storage as the Galaxy 10.1, which will be priced at £399 when it launches on 3 August, it might be enough to tempt buyers the other way.
The Xoom sports the Android Honeycomb operating system, along with a 10.1-inch screen, high definition resolution (1280 x 800), and also comes with Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor, and 32GB. there's also a 5-megapixel camera around the back that's good for 720p HD footage.
Admittedly it's only the Wi-Fi version, but at £395 you can't really complain; and launched just 4 months ago we wouldn't bet against further price drop coming soon.
If you're in the market for an Android tablet, we've already done reviews of the Galaxy 10.1, Optimus Pad and Xoom
