BBC broadcasting via video iPod

News whenever, wherever you want it

27 July 2006 16:43 GMT / By Amber Maitland

The BBC is hoping to attract a new generation of news-watchers with its latest venture – news podcasting.

The Ten O'Clock News and Newsnight are now available as video podcasts, called Ten Weekly, that incorporate the best of the week's Ten O'Clock News packages.

It's all part of a 12-month trial that sees other programmes, like highlights from each week's Question Time, being added as the year goes on.

Ten Weekly will be available every Wedenesday, while STORYFix (an irreverent look at the week's news) and Newsnight will be available every Friday.

  • i have been listening to bbc world radio for more than 2 decades and have appreciated it very much, apart from the extremely biased comments against the Serbian people during the NATO bombings on their country. No one is perfect but you come close to the best form of journalism; I am looking for the i-pod of your correspondent traveling along a pipeline in the Ukraine but I cannot find it; thanks in advance for helping me to retrace the link...
