The BBC is hoping to attract a new generation of news-watchers with its latest venture – news podcasting.

The Ten O'Clock News and Newsnight are now available as video podcasts, called Ten Weekly, that incorporate the best of the week's Ten O'Clock News packages.

It's all part of a 12-month trial that sees other programmes, like highlights from each week's Question Time, being added as the year goes on.

Ten Weekly will be available every Wedenesday, while STORYFix (an irreverent look at the week's news) and Newsnight will be available every Friday.
