Another device for the busy professional, the ICR 1000 dictation maching is being launched by Sanyo Speechtek to provide businesspeople with up to 35.5 hours of recording.

The ICR 1000 comes with a 256MB SD card as standard, although this can be upgraded to 1GB for an additional 140 hours of recording time.

The chrome encased recorder has an easy slide control that moves from record to review and play in one smooth motion.

With separate mode functions and sensitivity for dictation, conference or lecture, the ICR 1000 contains three folders for sorting files, and includes a Cue Index and Cue Search for quick and easy location of recorders.

Other features include remaining record time indicator, three playback speeds, overwrite record settings, Voice Activation for hands free recording, and an earphone/microphone socket.

A mini USB connection allows for a fast and secure connection to the PC so that you can download and store files on your computer.

The ICR 1000 is available for £229.
