Super-diddy Space Invaders arcade cabinet that's small enough to sit on our kitchen top? Yes please.

This brilliant mock-up is the work of YouTuber vcoleiro1 (YouTube names are always much cooler than regular ones) who used an old Game Boy Advance and a piece of 6mm medium-density fiberboard.

It measures just 18x9x11.5cm and weighs just 560g but still packs A, B, right bumper, left bumper, start and select buttons, and a small joystick.

And from Space Invaders on a small screen to Space Invaders on the big screen - Hollywood producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Odd Lot Entertainment’s Gigi Pritzker are planning a blockbuster movie based on the 1978 classic.

Not sure how they're gonna squeeze a story line out of a narrative that basically involves shooting aliens in linear form though...
