Two books per customer

Rather than offer free broadband, freedom2surf has teamed up with Audible, to offer two free downloadable books to all of its customers.

"We’re pleased to be able to offer our customers free audio books", says Maria Cappella, managing director at freedom2surf. "By continuing to offer our customers access to great new services such as this, we are helping them get even more from their broadband capabilities, whether they are PC or Apple Mac users."

Ideal for commuters, audiobooks can be downloaded straight on to a user’s PC and then burned to a CD or MP3 player for use on the move.

Audible book downloads can be used with iTunes, Windows Media Player, with a quick plug-in, and downloaded to over 200 different devices, including MP3 players, smartphones, PDAs, and all iPods, which is good news for freedom2surf’s expanding Apple user base. Research from IDG found freedom2surf was the most popular ISP amongst Mac users, holding 12% of the market.
