Need some new flatmates? Preferably ones who don't mind doing the shopping and then knocking up a fry-up on a Sunday morning?

Then look no further than Rosie and Jim. No, not the old ragdolls - these brilliant robots from the Intelligent Autonomous Systems Group at Technische Universität München in Germany.

TUM-James and TUM-Rosie, PR2 Beta Programm robots, use 3D perception algorithms married with other software in order to carry out their chores and the best bit, they'll even let you eat the lot.
