Google Goggles, the uber intelligent object identifying search app, is now home to a mapped history of everything you have scanned.

If you have made the decision to share location data with Google then you should find previously Goggled items are laid out neatly on a map in the apps search history. This means you can zoom and pan around everything you have looked at with the app and get an idea of where exactly you scanned it.

The app now also allows you to copy contact and text results to the clipboard. This may sound relatively boring but its actually incredibly clever. The text recognition means you can pull words from a sign, say a street name and then email it to yourself or copy it and send it in a text.

There is also the addition of Russian character recognition for those who fancy translating a bit of Cyrillic into English.

Google Goggles? Or do you search with words?
