A 3TB version of the popular Apple wireless network-attached storage device - Time Capsule - has quietly been announced by Apple.
Well, we say announced - there's been no press release and no official word from Infinite Loop, but the Time Capsule landing page clearly states:
"Time Capsule. Automatic wireless backup for your Mac. Available in 2TB and 3TB models."
It's been rumoured that new 2TB and 3TB versions of the device would be landing soon, along with rumours of a new AirPort Extreme device as well.
There's no word on the latter as of yet and also no details of the 3TB version in the Apple Store as of yet, so we're unsure if the purported price drop (for the 2TB variety) rings true - but be sure to check back on Pocket-lint for updates.
