No home cinema setup is really complete without a HD projector to beam out your best-loved flicks, and with that in mind Acer has announced the Full HD Acer H9500.
Acer's latest video projector is capable of a 1080p playback at 24fps, has a 50000:1 contrast ratio, comes packed with DynamicBlack technology to "dynamically fine-tunes each scene to optimal black levels" and also offers True 24p.
It has two HDMI ports, so you'll have no bother hooking up your games console as well as your Blu-ray player of set-top box and there's ColorSafe II DLP tech on board so as you haven't got to worry about getting a yellow or greenish tinge to your projections over time.
There's also a handy wall colour compensation tool, so you won't have to throw a wobbler if your good lady (or good man) decides to paint your big wall the latest fashionable shade of what is essentially just cream.
The illumination is up to 2000 ANSI lumens and it's also got an eco mode too whereby an environment friendly management solution means that power consumption by up to 80 per cent on standby.
Out now, the Acer H9500 will cost you a penny shy of £1700.
