Back in March we told you how how Spotify had announced Onkyo at its latest hardware partner, starting with the Onkyo TX-NR609. Well now there's news of a bigger budget machine packed with the Spotify features - the TX-NR1009.

The NR1009 is a 9.2-channel model boasting AV receiver and also boasts a word's first - DTS Neo:X, a new surround sound system that lets you enhance standard 5.1 soundtracks by using additional front-height, front-wide and surround-back channels.

It has 32-bit processing power and also packs Dolby Pro Logic IIz and Audyssey DSX and also comes with two HDMI outputs that support both 3D video and Audio Return Channel (ARC).

There's a front facing USB for your MP3 player or tablet and Powered Zone 2 and Zone 3 outputs (plus pre-outs/12v triggers for Zone 2/3) and pre-amp outputs for all 9.2-main channels.

Out in late June, the Onkyo TX-NR1009 will cost you £1,300.
