A new, easy-to-use, British-based blog service launched today called etribes.

Etribes is designed for busy adults who don't have time to maintain a traditional blog, but want to share personal musings and photos with their friends and family.

The founder of etribes, Simon Grice, has determined that by 2008, 4.5 million people in UK will be blogging through easy-to-use websites like his, to share news, photos and personal information.

An etribes account gives you 10Gb of photo storage for £24 a year, plus unlimited written blogging.

Website templates are provided free of adverts, and the site lets you publish privately to specified contacts.
