Shure launches the Rolls Royce of headphones in the UK

Noise cancelling earbuds promise complete isolation

20 July 2006 13:27 GMT / By Amber Maitland

Shure Personal Audio is bringing the crème de la crème of earphones to British shores in the form of the E500PTH Sound Isolating earphones.

The in-ear earphones incorporate "Push-to-Hear" technology that switches between complete isolation to connecting with the real world.

Shure likens the audio experience of using the headphones to watching high definition TV.

One tweeter and two woofers mean that users can hear the highest highs and lowest lows and catch every subtlety in each track.

The design of these tiny marvels of audio innovation is nice enough, but the sound quality better be special for the price – £419.
