Google.

The upstart start-up that became a global superpower. The quirky brand that became a ubiquitous verb. The online search engine that became our atlas, our office, our supermarket and now our provider of regular reading matter.

thinkquarterly.co.uk is the website accompanying a book that Google sent out to its business partners and advertisers. It's all about data and all the weird and wonderful ways in which we now immerse ourselves in it.

Although strictly aimed at the business community, it proved so popular that Google decided to make it more accessible, and as always with their output it's exactly that - concise, to the point and easy to get your head around, despite the fact that its contributors are some of the most erudite and esoteric minds on the planet.

So if you want to be fully armed with all the facts as the data revolution gets into full swing, this little online tome is well worth a read.
