High-end concept model becomes a reality

KEF Blade speaker unveiled

Audio brand KEF has unveiled what it describes as its "most ambitious production loudspeaker to date" - the KEF Blade.

The KEF Concept Blade proved so popular that the manufacturer decided to produce an edition that will be availble for you to buy (if you're got several thousand quid at your disposal).

The high-end speaker features "four sophisticated new bass drivers that are configured so that their combined acoustic centre occupies exactly the same point in space as that of the Uni-Q HF/MF array, so the sound appears to emanate from a single single, flawlessly coherent source".

The speaker will be available in gloss white and black, but if you're after something a little more unusual then available custom colours comprise Garnet, Sapphire, Grigio, Racing Red, Racing Blue, Pale Gold, Orange Sorbet, Graphite, Stardust, Lemon Sorbet, Lime Sorbet or Snow White.

The KEF Blade is expected to land at KEF retailers from July/August, priced at £20,000.00.
