When Archos first released the Archos 9 back at the end of 2009, it was billed as the first Windows 7 tablet. But times they are a changing - so Archos has acted so as its tab doesn't fall behind.

The Archos 9, 2011 edition, now comes with a 32GB SSD as well as a revamped 1.2GHz Intel Atom chip.

You'll still get all the old good stuff too - so that's Windows 7 Starter, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a 9-inch screen with HD video playback up to 1080p and integrated stereo speakers.

Costing £400, the new Archos 9 is available now.
