Vita Audio has teamed up with department store Selfridges & Co to launch a special limited edition of its R1 MkII DAB radio, featuring the shop's famous yellow hue.

Just 2,000 units will be on sale and each will sport an individual number. Vita says that once the 2,000 radios have sold out, the special Selfridges finish won't be repeated on the R1.

As well as the high-gloss yellow finish, the radio sports a large screen that automatically adjusts to suit the surrounding light conditions and you can also use it as a speaker for your iPod or other media player, thanks to the auxiliary input. Other features include a headphone output, 10 station presets, 9W speaker output and an FM tuner. The R1 MkII can also be teamed up with an optional carry case and rechargable battery pack to make it completely portable.

The special Selfridges edition of the R1 MkII will be available from Selfridges and other selected outlets with a premium price tag of £179.99.
