Qualcomm, once the undisputed mobile chip king, has come under pressure from a wealth of competitors as of late - most notably from Nvidia and its Tegra 2 platform.

But the San Diego based manufacturer has gone out on the offensive; releasing a couple of videos showing off the power of its third-generation Snapdragon chip - the MSM8660.

Shown off on a Bsquare MDP prototype (yours for a cool $1,350), the 1.5GHz chip will be found inside many Android handsets of the future - kicking off later this with the HTC EVO 3D and the HTC Sensation.

We can't wait.
