Remember the Motorola Pro that Pocket-lint got hands on with at MWC? It looked as if the Motorola Droid Pro would be heading to the UK under this moniker but it now seems as if this won't be the case with reports suggesting the launch here in Britain has been canned.

The cancelled smartphone sports a full multi-touch 3.1-inch screen atop of a QWERTY keyboard and Android 2.2 with the company’s Motoblur interface.

It also packs a 1GHz processor with 2GB of internal memory, as well as expandable external memory with SD card up to another 32GB.

Photographers would have got a 5-megapixel camera featuring auto focus and dual LED flash.

But if that spec sheet only served to tease you about what you cannot have - take heart from the murmurs that a replacement handset will be arriving instead in Q3.
