Looking to get a slick looking all-in-one machine with some serious hardware on board but don't want to go down the Apple avenue? Then maybe you should take a look at the 3D-touting Acer Aspire Z5763 that has just been announced.
The Z5763's killer feature is undoubtedly the inclusion of Nvidia's 3D vision tech - but it's also got a decent enough spec sheet to make you consider it for PCing in just the two dimensions.
It has a 23-inch 1080p display, a 5W stereo speaker system, along with Dolby Home Theater v4, and also has a Blu-ray drive unlike Apple's iMac.
The Z5763 also packs Acer AirControl; the "next generation remote control" that's "unbreakable, always available and doesn’t need batteries". It works a la Kinect (but isn't nearly as detailed) and will let you adjust the volume, rewind or forward, play, pause or stop your media playback.
It's all powered by a second-gen Intel Core chip with Intel Turbo Boost tech and has up to 16GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.
The Acer Aspire Z5763 will be available from mid May with a price-tag of £999.
