Virgin Media has announced that it's launching a range of deals that combine its home phone and mobile packages, which could knock around £96 a year off customers' mobile contracts.
As well as the benefits gained from having free calls from Virgin Media home phones to VM mobiles, customers of "L" (Talk Evenings and Weekends) or "XL" (Talk Anytime) phone packages taking up the offer will be able to choose between a range of offers which deliver £4 off a monthly mobile bill on the "L" package and £8 off the "XL".
Handset-wise you're looking at smartphones like the Blackberry Curve 8520, Samsung Galaxy Ace and HTC Desire, and if you've already got a phone then Virgin Media is also offering a SIM-only tariff with exactly the same savings on a 30-day rolling contract.
Graeme Oxby, executive director of home phone and mobile at Virgin Media said: "Having pioneered free calls from home phone to mobiles, we’ve been looking at new ways to help our customers save money, and our new combo deal means that staying in touch with friends and family has never been such good value."
All the deals and packages will be being updated regularly, so if you want to find out more you can take a look on the Virgin Media site.
