Loewe, the Berlin-based maker of high-end AV equipment, has announced its latest bank-busting TV - the Loewe Art 46 LED 200.

As you can probably guess from the name, this is a 46-inch LED backlit TV. It has a 200Hz equipped panel and is environmentally friendly (kind of) as it features OPC power management which adapts to the ambient light to reduce power consumption. Stand by power use is just 0.4-watts.

It comes packed with web and multimedia options, including home network capabilities and access to Loewe's MediaNet set of apps.

Sound is taken care of by closed two-way speakers and the TV is packing Dolby Digital Plus, an integrated AC3 as well as DTS. Its performance is by way of 2 x 20W stereo power plus 40W for the low frequencies.

The cost for the Loewe Art 46 LED 2000? If you have to ask you can't afford it.

(It's at least £2,395).
