TheGadgetStore.com to get a makeover

New online retail outlet to be renamed Gizoo

The online retailer TheGadgetStore.com is to be relaunched with a new name and new look later this summer

On 1 August, TheGadgetStore.com will become Gizoo: Gadgets, Gifts, & Gizmos.

The new-look store will feature not just the weird and wonderful, like Gupi, the robotic guinea pig and La Tweez, a pair of tweezers with lights, but also iPods, PSPs, and Xbox360s.

The store's marketing manager, John Tilley, said in a statement, "Although TheGadgetStore.com has been successfully growing and evolving, the brand was becoming restrictive in its ability to support the sales of not only PC gadgets but also lifestyle gizmos and gifts".

"It was therefore essential we developed a fresh new brand through which we can provide a much clearer offering of products along with customer service excellence."
