AT&T has just announced that it will be stocking a variant of the HTC HD7 smartphone, currently available on T-Mobile USA (a company that it is in the process of buying), which it is going to call the HTC HD7S.

It effectively means that the HD7S will sport the largest screen for a Windows Phone from AT&T. And it will include the latest version of the Windows Phone 7 operating system - offering many new benefits including the ability to copy and paste text.

AT&T is also bumping up the spec of the screen, with an improved 4.3-inch 800 x 480 Super LCD high-resolution display in preference to a standard LCD screen.

Aside from that, there are no differences over the first iteration of the phone launched in the UK and the US on T-Mobile last October. It features a 1GHz single-core processor and 5-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash.

The phone will be available in the States in the next couple of weeks.

In related news, AT&T has also said that it will be stocking the US variant of the LG Optimus 3D, which it will be calling the LG Thrill 4G. The AT&T version will add 4G connectivity when it comes out in the US later in the year.
