The so-called Facebook phone, the INQ Cloud Touch, will land in the UK on 6 April and will go on sale via The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy.

Although not an “official” Facebook phone the INQ Cloud Touch is deeply integrated with the social network. You’ll find the usual Android Facebook connectivity in place, like the option to upload photos to Facebook from the album and contacts, but there is a whole lot more besides.

The homepages come with familiar Facebook icons giving you direct access to Facebook services offering People, Events, Notifications and Places

Specs wise you're looking at a mid-level device with a Qualcomm MSM 7227 600MHz processor, Wi-Fi, GPS, and HSPA connectivity.

The display is a 3.5-inch 480x320 one, and it packs a 5-megapixel autofocus camera. It also offers VGA video capture too.

It's Android 2.2 for now, although we have been told Gingerbread should be coming later this year.

Price-wise, it's £299.95 SIM free, £199.95 on PAYG, or £20 on contract. You can pre-order now.
