We've stumbled across a couple of funky NES mashup videos as of late (our favourite being the HD sound Super Mario Bros one) so we couldn't just ignore this Futurama NES video that we spotted on Likecool, even if it has been on YouTube almost three years.

It's obviously not a real game - Futurama first hit our screens in 1999, a good few years after the 8-bit console had it's day - but it looks brilliant and was made entirely using Flash.

It reminds us of the NES classic, The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants. Except with better one-liners and less purple spray paint.

Oh, and how apt is the 8-bit sound for Dr. Zoidberg? Brilliant.
