iPad under £100 on Three contract

11 March 2011 13:12 GMT / By Ben Crompton

Three is on a bit of a roll at the moment when it comes to dishing out the deals, and the latest is its £100 price drop of the upfront cost its 16GB Wi-Fi and 3G iPad contract - down to £99.

Coming on the back of the launch of the iPad 2, the deal will offer up 15GB for £20 a month on a 24-month contract. If you want a 32GB of 64GB then the upfront cost will go up to £149 and £249 respectively.

There's also the option to go for rolling contracts on all the three models mentioned, which will probably work out cheaper the long run.

If you're not desperate to get your hands on one - which may well be the case if you've waited this long - it's possible the price of the iPad 1 to drop even further as companies look to get rid of excess stock. Though don't wait too long as Apple is only shipping the iPad 1 whilst remaining stocks last.
