Could you be the UK's No.1 Mortal Kombat player?

10 March 2011 11:44 GMT / By Paul Lamkin

Know your Liu Kang from your Shang Tsung; your Scorpion from your Sub Zero?

Are you capable of finishing with a brutality fatality just as easily as performing the Hara-Kiri?

If so, then you should seriously consider warming up your thumbs and heading down to your local Game or GameStation to get involved with the official Warner Bros. Mortal Kombat UK tournament.

Heats will be taking place at the gaming stores throughout March and April and, if you prove to be tough enough, you could even make it to the final which will take place on Sunday 17 April at the Gadget Show Live event in Birmingham.

The final competition will be held in front of thousands of gamers at Mortal Kombat’s Fight Arena stage at the expo. It will hosted by GameFace TV presenter, Julia Hardy.

If you win the tournament, you'll not only become a Facebook legend, you'll also nab yourself a full-sized Mortal Kombat arcade machine, with a PS3 inside.
