WEBSITE OF THE DAY - Drupal

Create a site for sore eyes

The web is a wonderful place isn’t it? All the information you could possibly ever need - on just about any topic you can think of - and all presented in a easily accessible and digestible way. At least for the most part it is.

There are still some bad sites out there. Dated, clunky, slow and just plain ugly scars on the face of the Internet.

And the biggest question is: why? There are all sorts of tools available for even the most ham-fisted, code-phobic wannabe developers out there (myself included).

Drupal is one of the best. It goes way beyond just a few basic pages and themes for you to customise, this is a full-blown content management system worthy of serious consideration by businesses as well as individuals.

It’s almost limitless in what you can do, thanks to the thousands of options, all created by an army of over 4,000 contributing developers.

The latest version is out now at www.drupal.com and it really does turn a professional looking website into child’s play.
