Back in January we told you how Penthouse was planning a 3D porn channel which would be the first of its kind in the world.
And now that channel is live here in Europe, and you should be able to pick it up with an Astra satellite if you point it in the right direction. Your satellite dish that is.
The native 3D channel show will show nudey action shot in high-definition and the channel will sit alongside the Penthouse HD channel, which launched in 2009 and now operates via 30 different platforms in 15 countries across the world.
“We are thrilled to be teaming up with SES Astra for the launch of the first Adult 3D Channel in the world” said Marc Bell, CEO of Penthouse.
“Working with SES Astra represents a spectacular opportunity to work with a leader in 3D technology delivery. We started shooting in 3D this past summer, and have significantly invested to perfect 3D production quality. Consumer excitement for 3D content is high, and Penthouse is the one studio that can rely on its broad expertise to deliver 3D in a manner unmatched by any other branded entertainment company.”
The encrypted channel will be broadcast at 23.5 degrees east, 11pm - 5am CET from 1 March.
3D glasses and Kleenex at the ready. Kleenex to wipe the smudges off of your 3D glasses, of course - nothing else.
