3D glasses aren’t that hip or cool, especially if you're 9-years-old. But, all that is about to change with the launch of the Hasbro Transformers 3D glasses/helmets later in the year.
Hasbro has announced that it's partnered with Real-D, the company that makes virtually all the 3D specs you get in the cinema, to create Autobot Cine-Mask 3D glasses. Kids can then watch Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 3D, whilst looking like Bumblebee or Optimus Prime.
The glasses/helmets are expected to cost a surprisingly affordable $10 and be available from 16 May 2011 - in time for the movie.
Unfortunately, if you've got an active shutter television at home they won't work with that, still, your kids will look pretty cool.
