Oono launches the highly-portable MiniDAB radio

Sort of looks like an iPod with more buttons

The new MiniDAB from Oono is not just a portable radio – it integrates FM radio, an MP3 player, voice recorder, and portable storage device in one.

Although there's only 128MB of internal memory, the memory card slot supports up to 2GB of SD card memory.

It can be programmed to record from the radio at certain times, and save the recordings as MP3 files so that they can be transferred to a computer (both PC and Mac are supported). A stereo in-line port also lets you record from any audio source direct to MP3 on the device.

With a built-in speaker as well as headphone socket, you can play your music to yourself or share it.

The MiniDAB is highly portable, weighing only 95g and measuring less than 100mm tall.

It's available in black or white for around £170. See http://www.oono.co.uk/purchase.php for purchasing information.
