Tablets are rapidly growing in popularity, and the news that Three is stocking three new tablets on a contract basis will no doubt strengthen this fast paced adoption.

The new Three tablet lineup consists of Commtiva N700, the Dell Inspiron Duo and the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and the contracts and specs of each device are different enough to hopefully appeal to a wide variety of potential users.

The Commtiva N700, the budget option, has a 7-inch screen, will be sporting Android 2.2 as well as a 3MP camera and can be yours for an initial cost of £99 on a £25 a month, including 15GB data on a 24 month contract.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab, which Pocket-lint has covered extensively, comes with a decent 1GHz processor, fullFlash support, Android 2.2 and front and rear facing cameras. After an initial cost of £199 you'll be shelling out £25 a month, including 15GB data, on a 24 month contract.

Last but not least there's the Dell Inspiron Duo, a kind of Frankenstein's monster mashup of a tablet and a notebook (to get a better idea, take a look at our hands-on shots). Inside and you’ll get an Intel Atom N550 processor, 2GB of RAM, a Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator, 250GB of storage, a webcam and 2 USB sockets, although no SD card reader. It'll be running Windows 7 and cost £49.99, after which you'll need to pay £41.52 a month, including 5GB data on a 24 month contract.
