Panasonic’s DMC-TZ20, or the ZS10 as the Yanks would call it, is Panasonic’s latest high-end snapper and we’ve grabbed the new camera for a quick fumble in the back of a car park, no really.
Okay so the car park happens to belong to Panasonic, but due to this being a prototype, while we were able to play and take photos of the camera we can’t show you sample shots, rats.
What we can show you however what it looks like in sparkling silver (it doesn’t actually sparkle) or a beautiful bright red that is likely to impress any one who’s a fan of fire engines.

What you get is a 14.1-megapixel camera, with a 16x optical zoom, a 3-inch, 460,000-dot touchscreen LCD which lets you zoom, auto focus and playback and Panasonic's new 3D shooting mode, can shoot high-resolution full-HD 1920 x 1080 60i videos in AVCHD and has the Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens.
With geotagging hot on the agenda, the TZ20 also features a built-in GPS function, whilst you can instantly upload your images to Facebook and your videos to YouTube using the Lumix Image Upload.
Overall the camera felt responsive, was well built and certainly packed a punch when it came to that 21x zoom action.
Sorry the pretty lady in the pictures isn’t included.
