We've seen a fair few Kinect hacks so far with people doing all sort of bits and bobs on screen, but this is the first one to our knowledge that brings the power of the Kinect beyond the computer screen to the real world.

As the video shows the hacker behind the "Control the Humanoid Robot by Kinect" hack, a chap called W_Yoshizaki, moves his arms on screen and the robot does the same.

It's all part of something called V-Sido, and in this case V-Sido with Kinect.

Is this the start of The Terminator? Maybe a new army of Mechs (remember the games), or will it just be something destined for London Toy Fair 2012?

Either way it's pretty cool and scary at the same time.
