Microsoft has used the Golden Globe Award ceremony in the US to premier its new slogan “Be What’s Next”.

The slogan, first announced last summer, has finally after months of waiting made it into the real world.

Microsoft has shown two adverts pre-congratulating the “Golden Globe winners of tomorrow”, rather than the likes of Natalie Portman or Colin Firth.

The two Windows Phone 7 and Bing ads feature upcoming actors during an actual audition, and in keeping with the Be What’s Next ideology says well done to them - rather than those who’ve done well today.

"Be What's Next" replaces Microsoft's former slogan, "Your Potential, Our Passion".
