Samsung Galaxy S mini outed?

14 January 2011 11:58 GMT / By Paul Lamkin

The Samsung Galaxy S rumour mill has been kicked up into overdrive over the last couple of days.

You may have seen reports of a supposed Galaxy S successor, based on the Nexus S, and now there are pics and specs floating about of a supposed mini version of the successful Android handset.

The Galaxy S mini is apparently packing a 3.5-inch, 320 x 480 screen (Super AMOLED maybe)and a 5-megapixel camera with the budget 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 CPU.

It's supposedly a Froyo (Android 2.2) handset, is labelled with the model number S5830, and is quad-band handset with WCDMA support.

A Mobile World Congress 2011 announcement in February is touted and if that's true then expect to see some hands-on coverage here on Pocket-lint as we'll be all over the Barcelona expo like a rash.
