Following its recent problematic supernode-induced outage, which we're sure it would like to just forget, Skype has been enjoying quite a purple patch.
It recently announced that it was buying out Qik for $150 million, and there is also the small matter of 3G enabled Skype video calling now on the iPhone.
And it's probably the latter which has led to the VoIP giant recording record usage numbers. The company recently hit 27 million signed-in users - which is a couple more than it usually gets at peak time.
Research firm Telegeography also reported that Skype users made an incredible 102.5 billion minutes of calls in the past year, around one out of five international call minutes made during that time.
That's a serious amount of VoIPing going on, and surely the figures are only set to rise with Skype video calling likely to land on Android soon and the service also appearing on more and more internet connected TVs.
Plus, with the extra video services that the Qik deal may bring - it's exciting times at Skype-towers.
