Dell has certainly been busy with new product releases at the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas.

And, along with the Dell Venue Android handset, the Dell Streak 7 tablet, and some new offerings from its gaming line Alienware, the Texas based company has also used the expo to announce its latest notebook - the new Dell XPS 17, which adds 3D to the mix.

The revamped XPS 17 brings Nvidia's 3D tech on board the JBL sound based machine, along with the new Sandy Bridge Intel Core i7 processor.

It packs the Nvidia GeForce GT 555M graphics card which, combined with the NVision 3D glasses (sold separately), means 3D on its 17-inch screen, or via your 3D TV using Nvidia 3DTV Play if you'd prefer.

The new Dell XPS 17 will be available from 3 February, but the price is still to be confirmed.
