Maybe it was the announcement of the Zeppelin Air that forced audio specialists Denon and Marantz into action, or perhaps they always had CES week in mind, but whatever the reason the good news is that Apple AirPlay is now available on even more high-end audio devices after the two companies confirmed the necessary software updates for their systems are now live.

Denon has annouced that AirPlay is now available for the AVR-4311, AVR-3311 and the AVR-A100, with support for the new CEOL Network Music System coming at the end of January

For Marantz you can AirPlay along with the Melody Media (M-CR603) network mini system, the NA7004 network audio player/tuner, the SR7005 A/V receiver or the AV7005 A/V pre-amplifier

Both companies are charging €49 for the upgrade, and if you're interested visit either www.denon-upgrade.eu or www.marantz.eu/airplay.
