It's a shame that the PlayStation Phone (which is likely to be branded as a Sony Ericsson Xperia handset) wasn't shown off at CES 2011 - it looks as if we're gonna have to wait until Mobile World Congress in February (as exclusively revealed by Pocket-lint) - but luckily Chinese site IT168 has managed to get these vids of the much anticipated device in action.

The video above doesn't really show, too much - just switching between the phone mode and the PlayStation Pocket app, but the two videos below show the phone in gaming action - well, sort of.

It seems like games aren't yet set up for the machine, with the physical controls ineffective during gameplay. However, this will come in time and the important thing is that the phone seems to handle high-graphic gameplay with no problems.

And so it should as it's reported to be packing a 1GHz Snapdragon QSD8255 processor. Other spec suggestions include a battery capacity of 1,500mAh, a 4-inch LCD display with an 854x480 resolution, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, a microSD slot, SIM slot, micro-USB and a noise-cancelling mic.
