Today’s website of the day is wimbledon.org the official website of the world’s greatest tennis tournament.

The strawberries are picked, the cream is chilled, the bubbly is ready to be opened and most of the residents of SW19 have moved out for a fortnight. Oh, and it’s raining. That’s right it’s Wimbledon 2006 and the official site is a veritable fount of information.

Boasting up-to-date news and results as well as photo galleries and of course the all-important weather forecast, this is the one-stop shop for your yearly fix of tennis.

British hopes rest with young Andy Murray, but back in the real world, can anybody stop Roger Federer? Oh, and there’s Maria Sharapova. ‘Nuff said.

Vodafone and Orange 3G customers can, for the first time, watch live video coverage on their mobiles. You’ll be hard pushed to actually see the ball in any contentious line calls, but it’ll certainly give you a taste of the action.
