Wow, it's a jam packed day in terms of Android news.
First up we at Pocket-lint told you that the 4G HTC Thunderbolt is likely to be shown of at CES, then we brought you news that the Android Market had hit the 200,000 app milestone, and then there was a report of a Gingerbread touting Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini Mk.II.
And now, there's news of yet another Android handset that will be hitting in 2011, and launching at CES - the Motorola Cliq 2. If the Cliq name doesn't ring a bell that's because it went by the name of the Motorola Dext in the UK.
CellPhone Signal has grabbed some pics of the mid-range Android device, sporting a wacky looking, Tron-like, slider QWERTY keyboard and it's all covered in Motorola's MotoBlur UI.
The Cliq 2 is supposedly the device labelled the Begonia in recent leaked network road-maps and is said to be packing a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, aGPS and possible HSPA+ connectivity.
The OS is still unclear - it could be Froyo or Gingerbread - but it's apparently going to be announced officially at CES and launched on 19 January, so all should become a lot clearer in the coming weeks.
