Sony Ericsson and Vodafone launch exclusive F500i

Sony Ericsson and Vodafone have announced the launch of the first Sony Ericsson phone on the Vodafone network. The F500i camera phone has been designed to push the Vodafone live! Service and offer an alternative to the Sharp GX range of phones currently on offer from Vodafone.

Following the recent styles found in the S700 and K700, the F500i promotes the use of the camera on the back of the phone with a large screen on the front. The camera features a 4x digital zoom while the 128x160 pixels, 65,536 TFT colour screen is large enough to view video, images and games.

The phone will also be compatible with Sony Ericsson's game controller, the Gameboard EGB-10 for the gaming mad.
