NEC to unleash dual screen Android tablet at CES

The Cloud Communicator is coming

21 December 2010 10:47 GMT / By Paul Lamkin

NEC is all set to reveal the world's first dual-screen Android tablet at CES 2011, with a device that goes by the name of The Cloud Communicator.

The double LCD boasting device will have two 7-inch touchscreens, have connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G, have a stylus-pen input (no details yet as to whether one or both of the screens will be capacitive) and it will also let you multitask by having two different apps on the go over the dual-displays.

As well as the dual screen effort, NEC will also be showing off a single 7-inch screen Cloud Communicator with a camera on board, an Android powered "Mobile Notebook", and its own Android marketplace entitled Andronavi.

Pocket-lint will, of course, be over at CES in full force and we'll be bringing you all the news as and when it breaks.
