Mio launches two new portable satnav devices, the C510E and the C710

Hot on the heels of the newly-released C270, Mio is launching two more portable navigation devices: The C710 and the C510E.

The C710 is the top-of-the-range device, and includes a built-in Traffic Message Centre (TMC) receiver as well as pre-installed maps of 24 countries.

In all other specifications, the two devices are nearly identical.

They both provide not only navigation, but also feature Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in microphone for hands-free calling as well as Outlook synchronisation capability so that users can quickly navigate directly to their contacts.

In addition, the 3.5-inch LCD is fully touch-sensitive and features an anti-glare screen for better visibility outdoors when in pedestrian mode.

Both devices also have an in-built database of speed camerra locations to alert the user when approaching one.

Entered addresses are stored in the devices so they can be quickly accessed again, and they both come equipped with thousands of Points of Interest.

The Mio C510E will retail for £239.99 and the C710 for £359.99.
