We love audio books here at Pocket-lint, as after all the reading and writing we have to do it's nice to sit back and listen. So if you feel the same about the spoken word then Audible could be a good bet for getting content, as they've got a rather attractive offer on at the moment.
The Audible deal will give you a £50 voucher towards any Amazon.co.uk MP3 player purchase, which includes the next-gen iPods. The company does require something in return however, which not surprisingly takes the form of a year's loyalty and monthly payment of £7.99.
This isn't a bad offer if you're really into your audio books, as your monthly payment will mean you can download one audio book a month free, and Ts and Cs also seem pretty reasonable.
If you change your mind within the first month you can get your money back, as the following terms describe:
"If you cancel your AudibleListener membership within the first 30 days, you will receive a refund of your initial membership charge and will have no further payment obligations if (a) you return the device to Amazon and (b) you have not used any membership credits or benefits".
Click through here to Audible for full details, and if you're a current Audible subscriber let us know what you think of the service in the comments below.
