"The undead armies of the Lich King have been vanquished, and the campaign in Northrend has come to an end. Now Azeroth faces a new threat, as Deathwing the Destroyer has burst forth from the heart of the Maelstrom, unleashing widespread devastation upon Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms."

If you know what all of that means then the chances are that you're well aware that World of Warcraft Cataclysm has landed.

The third expansion for the world's most popular MMORPG is now available in the shops, or directly from Blizzard.

Cataclysm brings two new races - Goblins and Worgen - to Azeroth, as well as increasing the level cap to 85.

There's also a new secondary profession - Archaeology - as well as new class combinations for existing races. Players can now play as Gnome Priests, Blood Elf Warriors, or even Tauren Paladins.

The last expansion for WoW - Wrath of the Lich King - sold faster than any other PC game in history, shifting 2.8 million copies in just 24 hours.

We fully expect Cataclysm to smash this record though - there are more than 12 million WoW subscribers on the planet and the title holds an incredible 62 per cent of the global MMORPG subscription market.
