There's a particularly fine deal on the slim-line Samsung E1080i handset, which has been reduced from £20 to £10 - as an extra sweetener Asda is providing £5 of free airtime to pay as you go customers when they connect to the network. The number is capped to 100,000 handsets, so first come first served.

Along with the phone deal, there's some decent prices on TVs, including the LG 32-inch LCD Full 1080P HDTV (£297, was £447, saving £150). Or for a smaller viewing option, there's the Luxor 19-inch LCD HDTV with built-in DVD Player and Freeview (£122, was £147, saving £25).

For music fans, Asda is also offering an iPod with free jivo kit and £15 iTunes Gift Voucher (£186).
