Parrot has announced that the first Augmented Reality game for its flying wonder, the AR.Drone, will be hitting the App Store soon.

The game, AR.Pursuit, lets two Droners fight it out in a cat and mouse style pursuit game, complete with virtual machine guns and missiles.

It's a virtual game of tag, played out in the real world and via your iDevice's screen, with the chaser and the chasee alternating when your Drone is hit. The game lasts for 3 minutes as a default, but you can set this up to 9 minutes.

Once the Bluetooth on your iOS handset is on to connect it to your buddy's, you can connect to your AR.Drone via Wi-Fi and launch AR.Pursuit.

The view of the Drone will be relayed to your screen and you'll also see the virtual weapons being fired.

Priced at £1.79, the AR.Pursuit should land in the App Store by 26 November.
