After much deliberation and debate, the Pocket-lint team has whittled down and weeded out the best gadgets and tech from the past year.

That means we now have a definitive shortlist for the 7th Pocket-lint Gadget Awards 2010.

There are five products in each of the 10 categories listed below, with a full review or hands-on for each - one of the stipulations was that all nominations must have been seen by a member of the Pocket-lint team.

This is all in preparation for the coming vote, decided by the Pocket-lint team, a select team of top class UK judges, and around a further 100 judges from technology and gadget websites from all over the world.

However, we'll also be opening up voting to the public in a few days - letting you, our valued readers, have your say in which gadgets you think should be crowned top for 2010.

So take a look and click through on the links below. Also, keep an eye out for the public vote in the next few days.
